NedZero has developed a number of policy documents and manuals, including an Ice Protocol Manual and a Guide for mini wind and small wind turbines. You will find them here in alphabetical order.
Checklist for Mini Wind and Small Wind Turbines
When applying for a small-format wind turbine, municipal authorities must determine how legal installation requirements regarding noise exposure, nuisance caused by shadow flicker or other risks are met. This checklist offers a practical tool.

Code of Conduct for Acceptance & Participation of Onshore Wind
Successful onshore wind energy projects require support from citizens and businesses. Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth Netherlands, Natuur & Milieu, Nature and Environment Federations and ODE Decentraal have therefore jointly set up the Code of Conduct for Acceptance and Participation in Onshore Wind. The Code of Conduct provides the basic principles for involving the local community in plans for new wind farms.

Participation Plan Manual
For the development of a new onshore wind energy location, acceptance by the environment is essential. Developers and governments can therefore invite citizens and companies to participate in the new project. A plan is needed for optimal participation. Ecofys and Houthoff Buruma have developed a Participation Plan Manual. About participation per phase of the wind farm project.

Ice Protocol Manual
NedZero has drawn up an Ice Protocol Manual for owners and operators of wind turbines. Ice and snow deposits can cause unsafe situations and damage. The manual is also intended for municipalities, environmental services and provinces that supervise the safe operation of the wind turbines.
Guide to mini wind and small wind turbines
This guide from NedZero lists the safety requirements and standards for the design of miniwind and small wind turbines. These are mills with rotor blades with a length of up to 14 metres. If the manufacturer or supplier meets the points in the guide, the wind turbine is in principle safe.
The North Seas Standard
Standardization is important to enable ambitious European offshore wind targets. NedZero proposes in the North Seas Standard to set the maximum turbine dimensions for at least ten years.
